Arrival & Gala Welcome

Guests arrive at the airport, where a private coach and English-speaking guide will be waiting. During the transfer through the winter countryside, there is time to relax after the journey and enjoy the first views of the mountains. A short photo stop on the way allows guests to capture the atmosphere of the region.

Upon arrival at the mountain hotel, check-in is followed by time to settle in and refresh. Later in the afternoon, guests gather for an introductory presentation of the program and the host organization, giving context to the experiences ahead.

In the evening, a short walk leads to a traditional wooden lodge set by the lake, where a gala dinner is served. Local specialties, warm hospitality, and live folk music create the first taste of the region’s culture. After dinner, return to the hotel for overnight stay.

UNESCO & Wellness Discovery

The day begins with a short walk around the iconic glacial lake of Štrbské Pleso before heading to Levoča, a UNESCO World Heritage town. Guests explore the beautifully preserved medieval square, the Renaissance town hall, and the Basilica of St. James, home to the world’s tallest late-Gothic wooden altar, carved by Master Paul of Levoča. Lunch is served in the historic center, giving a taste of local gastronomy in a unique setting.

In the afternoon, the journey continues to Vrbov thermal pools, where guests can relax in naturally hot mineral water rich in beneficial elements. The experience is especially memorable in winter – soaking in steaming pools of 36–38 °C while surrounded by snow and crisp mountain air. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
