Arrival at Kraków International Airport (KRK) in the morning, followed by a private transfer directly to the High Tatras.
Stay at Wellness Hotel Borovica, a four-star hotel hidden among the pine forests of Štrbské Pleso, one of Slovakia’s highest mountain resorts. The hotel is known for combining a quiet, secluded forest setting with an extensive wellness offer.
A special Slavic-style welcome with music, singing and refreshments will introduce participants to the atmosphere of the destination.
In the evening, the group will walk to Koliba Patria, a traditional wooden restaurant located directly by Štrbské Pleso lake. Its folk interior and Slovak specialities make it a perfect first taste of the region – with the High Tatras rising immediately above the water.
The first evening therefore presents two complementary products in one destination – a high-quality wellness hotel and an atmospheric traditional restaurant, both set directly in the High Tatras.
Key points:
After breakfast, the group will travel to one of the main mountain resorts in the High Tatras (Štrbské pleso).
The morning begins with a resort inspection followed by a chairlift ride to a traditional mountain chalet (Chata Solisko) located high above the valley. Where skiing meets sweeping panoramic views and the simple pleasure of breakfast or lunch surrounded by mountain peaks
The programme then continues to another major mountain resort, which serves as a gateway to some of the highest accessible parts of the High Tatras (Tatranská Lomnica).
From here, participants will travel by cable car to a high-altitude mountain lake and continue towards one of Slovakia’s highest and most iconic peaks at 2,634 metres above sea level (Lomnický štít). This is one of the strongest scenic experiences in the region and an excellent example of how dramatic mountain landscapes can be made accessible to a broad range of clients.
Lunch will be served in a mountain restaurant surrounded by alpine scenery.
After returning to the valley, the group will visit a historic premium mountain hotel for a hotel inspection and wellness experience. This part of the programme demonstrates how outdoor mountain experiences can be combined with quality accommodation, relaxation and higher-end hospitality.
Dinner will be served at the hotel before the transfer back to the accommodation.
Key points:
After breakfast, the group will travel to one of Slovakia’s leading ski resorts for an inspection (Jasná) of its slopes, cable-car system and mountain facilities. The visit shows how a major winter-sports destination works in practice, from skiing and mountain services to hospitality and après-ski atmosphere.
Lunch will be served at Snowbeer Restaurant at Swissôtel Damian Jasná, combining modern mountain hospitality with direct access to the resort.
In the afternoon, the programme changes completely in character with a transfer to a natural thermal spa. The group will spend several hours bathing in warm mineral-rich thermal pools, offering a relaxed contrast to the active mountain programme and demonstrating how skiing and wellness can be combined into one attractive holiday product.
Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by individual free time and the opportunity to use the hotel wellness facilities.
Key points:
Jasná – Chopok ski resort inspection
Lunch at Swissôtel Damian Jasná
Thermal Park Vrbov
After breakfast, the group will travel to a mountain resort known for panoramic views and one of the region’s most distinctive nature attractions (Bachledka).
Participants will take the cable car to the upper part of the resort and continue along the Treetop Walk, an elevated wooden trail leading above the forest canopy. The experience combines easy access with wide views of the surrounding mountains and offers a memorable way to experience the landscape even for guests who are not looking for a demanding hike.
Lunch will be served at PANORAMA Restaurant, where the mountain setting and views become part of the experience itself.
Programme continues to Grand Hotel Permon 4* for a hotel inspection and wellness experience at Permon’s Paradise, the largest hotel wellness complex in Slovakia. The extensive wellness world includes a large swimming pool overlooking the iconic mountain peaks, whirlpools and one of the country’s most impressive hotel sauna areas, with more than 30 different sauna and relaxation experiences spread across 1,620 m². It is a strong example of how a mountain holiday can combine active days outdoors with a substantial premium wellness product.
In the evening, participants will enjoy a premium fine-dining experience at Poetree’s Restaurant, featuring a multi-course tasting menu with carefully selected wine pairing. The restaurant focuses on modern cuisine, high-quality ingredients and elegant presentation, turning dinner into one of the day’s main experiences rather than simply the final meal.
Key points:
Bachledka Treetop Walk
Cable-car ride
Grand Hotel Permon inspection
Wellness experience
Festive dinner at Poetree’s Restaurant
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a short farewell meeting with the guide and representatives of NorthEast Slovakia Travel – NEST.
